Or the classic..."Return of the
BLOG!"
You'd have thought whoever came up with the idea, could have thought of
a better name!
But no matter WHAT you call it...
'Blogging' is a very POWERFUL marketing
tool!
The problem is, not many people know how to use them properly, or for
that matter, even what good they really are!
And the ones who
do...Aren't Telling!
You see, The "Big Guys" didn't get rich (and they certainly won't STAY
that way) by giving away all their secret weapons. They prefer to keep you
in the dark about them, until it becomes obvious that the "Cat is about to get
out of the Bag"! And then they fall all over themselves to be the first to
'Magnanimously' let you in on their secrets!
But hey, you can't blame them! This is a business. They work hard,
constantly testing New ideas to
discover these secrets, and as long as they can keep them to
themselves, they have a distinct advantage over the rest of us. So they
wait until the "Time is Right" to release each of their "Blockbuster
Revelations", and finally let the rest of us have OUR piece of the pie.
Now I know this is going to Piss
off a lot of people,
cause they're not
quite ready to make this secret public yet.
But I think it's high time YOU had the chance
to learn their secrets and have the tools to get YOUR share of the Pie!
So I'm going to put my
neck on the chopping block and tell you, not only what they don't want you
to know, but also how you can almost effortlessly do, what even THEY are spending a great
deal of time and effort to accomplish!
Sounds almost too good to be true, doesn't it?
But The Fact Is...It's Not!
You could have all the tightly targeted search engine traffic you want, sent
directly to your sites, completely on "Auto-Pilot", if you had the
right tools and knew how to use them!
You see...The search engines are DYING to send you the traffic. After all,
that's what they're there for.
But in order to be one of the ones they send all
that traffic to, you have to first get their attention, and then let them know YOU have
what their customer is looking for.
The First problem is...Getting their attention
is not easy. Those poor "Robots" are stretched pretty thin! I mean think about
it...They only have a few BILLION other sites vying for their attention, with
millions more coming online EVERYDAY!
But there IS a system that not only
GETS their attention...But Then KEEPS it, by Giving Them What They Are Looking For!
It's Called...
"AUTO BLOGGER"
The Most Versatile Automated Blog &
Ping System Ever Devised!
Search Engines find the webpages they recommend to their customers in a
number of ways.
- They find them through site submissions you make to the major Search
Engines. If you hand submit to the "Big Four", Google, MSN, Yahoo and DMOZ.org,
your site will eventually get listed. But you can expect it to take as much as
two months before they actually take an interest in it.
- They find them by spidering through
the links on your site. Once they finally
list the main page of your site, they WILL start spidering through the links on your pages
and eventually list your entire site. But FIRST they have to find and list that main
page. And THAT can take quite a while, if you don't have some action plan in place to
get them to notice your site more quickly!
- Their Robots routinely spider through
the links they find on ALL websites they visit, looking for new links and sites to
check out! This is the fastest
and most effective way to get your sites listed. If you have inbound links to
your site, from other 'Outside' sites, the search engines REALLY sit up and
take notice. So...The more outside links you have coming into your site, the
higher they will rank it, and the more traffic they will send it!
Now... you can (and SHOULD) submit all your new sites to Google, Yahoo, MSN
and DMOZ and
it usually takes at least a month or two for them to even get to your site and check
it out. But they WILL eventually send their "Robots" there. And if they
find
what they're looking for, they'll make a note of it, and eventually come back,
and (hopefully) start listing a few pages.
And once they've decided you're worthy of their attention, they'll
continue to come
back every once in a while to spider a couple more of your pages, and start listing
them as well...
If you're lucky!
But the Search Engines put a LOT of weight on sites who are linked to from
other, relevant, outside, sites. And the more of those sites you can get your
links on, the more often the 'Robots' will come back, and the faster and higher your sites
will get listed!
But guess what? The blog and RSS
directories out there have HUGE PRs by virtue of all the traffic they get. And if you can get your links on a dozen or so
of these
High Traffic, High PR sites, you're virtually guaranteed to get your sites
spidered quickly. In some cases, IN AS LITTLE AS TWO TO THREE DAYS!
The Million Dollar Question Is...How Do You
Do That?
You do that by...
"Blogging & Pinging"!
You see, if you set up a separate 'Blog'
(which is just another website that is consistently updated) for each of your sites, and then
post to each of those blogs on a regular basis,
and then let the numerous Blog Directory sites know you just updated your blog
each time you post to them
(by Pinging them through the special systems they all have set up for that purpose), you'll have
links to all your posts on Dozens of high ranking, high traffic, Blog
Directory Sites!
And by placing links to your sites on your
blogs, the search engines will follow the links on your blogs to your main site, and
then start spidering them!
But here's where it REALLY gets interesting!
The Search Engines LOVE Blogs! And they visit them Regularly to see what new
information you've posted to them. They satisfy every aspect of what the Search
Engines are looking for in a site...Constantly growing, constantly updated,
Relevant, informative and useful websites, targeting specific subjects and
providing further resources for the readers to follow.
And it's recently become evident that if you use a blog as your Home page (index
page), making the Blog the focus of the entire site, they then start seeing
your keyword pages behind the blog, as "Resources" for that Blog!
Do you see the power here?
The keyword specific "Spam"
pages everyone has been creating for the last year or two, are now being
searched out and de-listed by the thousands, as useless Spam pages with no
practical purpose!
But by making them "Resource" pages to a relevant Blog, that has constantly
updated relevant and useful information pertaining to the subject of that site,
and by then linking to those pages from the Blog itself, they are no longer
considered useless, and instead become a very useful directory of pages, making it
easy for the visitor to navigate to specific resources on subcategories of the site's
subject.
And since these pages are highly optimized for Search Engine Queries, they start
getting shown again, because they now have a REASON to exist!
(NOTE: I still STRONGLY advocate putting some useful data on those keyword specific
pages, such as snippets or links to relevant article pages, just to give them some added
credibility)
Setting up sites like this is easy, You just set up your keyword specific sites
in sub-folders to a domain that has your blog as it's index page, and then link
to your pages through the blog.
The key to success is in keeping them updated with worthwhile,
interesting material, that changes on a consistent basis, to keep both the
search engines and your visitors coming back often. (You'll may also find, if
you keep it informative and 'evergreen', that many other sites will start
linking to it, creating more and more Backlinks, which is ALWAYS a good thing
;o)
The problem is...
It's very time consuming to
constantly update your blogs and notify
each of the Directories that you've just created a new "Post",
on a consistent enough basis to do you any good!
ESPECIALLY when you have multiple sites you're
maintaining!
(most people who are serious about this have dozens of sites, and
